Cannes has no airport for commercial flights. The vast majority of travellers therefore arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur, then reach the Croisette by road or rail. The distance is modest, but the experience varies greatly depending on the option chosen.

The coach: a simple option for travelling light

Coaches link the airport to Cannes city centre via the motorway. It is an economical solution if you are alone, with little luggage, and your hotel is close to the stop. You do, however, have to work around the timetable and finish the journey on foot or by other means.

The train: pleasant, but with a connection

Cannes station is well served from Nice. However, you first have to reach a station from the airport, carry your suitcases along the platforms and sometimes wait. With children or bulky luggage, the sequence quickly becomes tiring.
