The airport lies to the west of the city, by the sea, at the end of the Promenade des Anglais. It is bordered by the mouth of the Var and directly connected to the A8 motorway. From central Nice, simply follow the coast westwards. From Cannes, Antibes or Italy, the motorway leads to a dedicated exit.
Two terminals, two destinations

The two terminals are separate buildings, linked by a free shuttle on the landside. Your terminal depends on your airline, sometimes on your flight. The information is on your boarding pass and on the airport’s official website.
Why it matters

By your own car
The airport has many car parks, but their rates depend on the duration and proximity to the terminal. For a long stay, the cost can quickly mount up. Reserve your space in advance if you choose this option.
By public transport
The tram and several bus lines serve the airport from the city. It is an economical option if you travel light and your times match the network’s. Check the day’s timetables before leaving, especially early in the morning or late in the evening.
With a private chauffeur

On arrival: where to meet your chauffeur
For a journey from the airport, the chauffeur tracks your flight using the number given at booking. He waits for you in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name. He then accompanies you to the vehicle and takes care of the suitcases. If you do not see him straight away, a WhatsApp message is enough to find each other.
